Yesterday marked 2 years since our dossier was logged into the Chinese system. It is called your Log In Date- or LID in the adoption community. Our LID was September 5, 2006. The people who have a LID of Feb. 9, 2006 or earlier now have their babies- so we still have 7 more months of people "standing in line" in front of us. That doesn't sound like a long time, but they are only getting through 2 months a year, so we still have a long wait ahead of us. But each day is a day closer to Kate- and we now have 2 years behind us. Let's hope we don't have more than 2 years ahead of us. (Not the best pictures but the best we could get- our little guy does not like to sit still these days!)

We are hoping and praying that it won't be much longer. I know it must be hard to have to wait this long, especially because it's because of political red tape.

Two years....crazy huh?! We will be two years on Sept. 22. Never would we have imagined we would be waiting two years with the end very hard to see!
