We are finally here! It is almost 5pm here- so 5am Atlanta time. We are about to meet the other three families in our group for dinner. The flight over was great and we were both able to sleep some. It will be so good to sleep in a bed tonight though.
The director at Kate's orphange will be bringing her to our hotel room at 10am tomorrow (so that is 10pm Wed. night Atlanta time). 17 more hours until Kate- it still hasn't sunk in. I can't believe that our long wait is about to be over.
I will try my hardest to get a post up tomorrow with pictures. Our guide said tomorrow is a very busy day- but I know you will all want to see pictures and know how everything went.
Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue to be praying for our girl. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day for her.
This is my last pre-Kate post!!!!!!!!! Next time I post my baby girl will be with me!!!!!!

I am so excited for you! I woke up at 4 this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep because I started thinking about you and wondering exactly where you were. I e-mailed you before you left--I don't know if you got it, but I am praying for you everytime I think of you, which is all the time! So glad the trip went well and yall are there safe. I thought about yall all day yesterday and am still on the verge of tears everytime I think about it (and when I read your blog). The emotions are overwhelming as I know they are for you. SOOOO Happy for yall and for sweet Kate. She is so blessed to have yall. I will be praying for each of you throughout these 17 days. Enjoy!!! Give her lots of hugs and kisses from us. We LOVE each of you sooo much.

So excited for you guys that the time is almost here when you can hold you baby girl. We are thinking of you all day lately, (and crying every time I do). I'm checking the blog all throughout the day, so anxious to see the first pics of the 3 of you. Praying all goes smooth while you are there, and counting down the days til your whole family is together at home. Also, when I told Hailey you were in China she said "Why hasn't she got Kate yet? Tell her not to leave without Kate."

I can't help wondering how many people are praying for y'all and thinking of you right now. We are all imagining what is happening. I know I see that precious little girl in your arms. The comments from everyone make me cry because of the overwhelming love being sent to you on the other side of the world! But Christ erases the distance. And we all feel that we are so close to you now. You are home, Kate. Really really home!

Oh my gosh... this is AMAZING!! I'm almost in tears reading all the posts and seeing all the pictures!!! And I'm SO glad to know she was well taken care of. Her personality sounds just precious too... God is SO good!!! It's also fun to see pics of the historic places in China... brings back memories from when I was over there! Maybe I can try and remember some of my mandarin that I learned so I can talk to her when I meet her!!! Doubt that will happen!! Anyway, so glad y'all are having a great time and the journey is going so smoothly! Keep updating!!!
