I can't believe it has only been three weeks since Mr. Reid has entered our world. To be honest, I don't know what we did without him. I have been completely smitten by this little one and can not imagine my life without him. I am so in love!
It was such an interesting experience to have a scheduled csection. To walk into the hospital feeling fine, and have a baby within two hours is a surreal experience. After our experience with Brett in the NICU, I was so nervous to hear those first few cries and hear his apgar scores. Reid let out a nice loud cry followed by a 9/9 apgar- I was one relieved mommy. And when they told me that he weighed 10 lbs 1 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long I felt much better about how miserable I was the last few weeks of pregnancy.
The first few weeks at home have been amazingly wonderful. The kids have loved having a little brother. Daddy has stepped up big time and has entertained the "big two" with daily trips to the pool. Reid is a wonderful baby and is a fabulous eater and sleeper- I am so thankful. I must admit that I LOVE LOVE LOVE having three children- WAY more than I thought I would. My heart feels so full and I am so incredibly thankful that God has trusted us with such priceless gifts.

Brett and Kate seeing him for the first time. Kate walked in and said, "Mommy, who is that?" So cute- we have been talking about him for so long I think she was shocked that he was really finally here.
