A year ago today we received the most important piece of paper I have ever received- Kate's Letter of Acceptance. We waited what seemed like FOREVER to get this very important piece of paper. This paper told us that China officially accepted our request to adopt Kate. It was a happy, happy, happy day.
Sweet girl, we sure are glad that it is one year later and you are in our arms and not just in our hearts anymore! We love you!!

If you could have ordered a little girl directly from the Lord and made a detailed list of all the characteristics you would like for her to have, I don't think you could have thought of someone as special as Kate. She reminds me of why God is God and we are but His humble creation. His ways are so much better than ours. She is perfect. And Amybeth, you look so lovely in your little cow photo. Praising the Lord with you during this very special time of thanksgiving.
She is absolutely adorable....and right where she belongs....in your arms....right where God intended all along! Love you guys!
