4 years

Four years ago, on January 29th, 2006, we attended a meeting with Christian World Adoption and decided to pursue adoption.  Little did we know at that time how long it was going to take to get our Kate home to us.  But now, here we are 1, 460 days later and our precious Kate is finally home for good.  What an amazing journey- filled with lots of surprises- the first of which was finding out just 3 1/2 months later that we were pregnant with Brett.  And then, when we least expected it, we found Kate on our agency's "Special Needs" list.  You just never know what the Lord has planned- waiting is hard- but His timing is perfect!  And we have two amazing miracles to prove it!!

Brian and I in the mountains the weekend we decided to pursue adoption

Our sweet miracle #1 just one year later

Two years later and still waiting on his sister to come home

Three years later--- and still waiting

Four years later- the picture we have waited so long to see.  Miracle #2- our Kate!

It was such an amazing, blessed journey. I think many of us prayed for your little Kate to come home. Now she is here and she is so beautiful. The last photo of her and Brett is one of the best photos I have ever seen. Another tear jerker---tears of grateful joy! You have two gorgeous children and, like all little ones, they are true miracles! Thanks for letting us go on this journey with you!

It has been an amazing journey, and the best part is that it is only just beginning! You still have a lot of road to travel with your sweet little ones in tow! I pray it will continue to be a blessed journey, with lots of fun and happy times along the way! God is so faithful, and I am so thankful I have been around to see what He has done in your lives! Take care, and don't forget to kiss everyone for me! Love you! Stacy
